Campaign Manager Training

Dozens of women and non-binary people will be running for office in Rhode Island in 2024, but there's a severe shortage of campaign managers to help them. That's why Gather RI, a not-for-profit women's empowerment center, is offering practical training for potential campaign managers.

This valuable training is no-cost to qualified applicants. If you'd like to be considered for training, you must:
- Identify as a woman or a non-binary person
- Agree passionately that women's voices, bodily autonomy, equal pay
and rights matter
- Be age 16+
- Be willing and able to attend 10 hours of in person training in
Providence taking place the first three Wednesday evenings in October 2023 and the day of Saturday October 21st.
- Are seriously considering helping a woman or nonbinary candidate in RI
run for office in RI in 2024 (even if you don't know who yet)

Applications will be reviewed by the selection committee on a rolling basis as they are received. The final application deadline is September 30, 2023. If qualified, we will contact you soon after your application.

The selection committee is committed to welcoming as many trainees who fit the above criteria as possible.
